Simply Delicious!

Part of the reason I love the holidays is because it gives us a great excuse to get together and party! All week I have been preparing for a little Christmas gathering at my house, and I could not be more excited. The cooking, cleaning, and decorating will finally pay off when everyone comes over and we bust out some appetizers.

Now, as much as I love to cook I will be the first to admit not everything on the table is homemade. I am all about snacks from the store and catered treats. Guests get such a kick out of fruit baskets from Edible Arrangements and finger foods from Dough Girls. Recently, I have discovered a baker in Charlotte who specializes in cupcakes. All the cupcakes are made from scratch and they are to die for! My personal favorite is the red velvet, but there are quite a few good ones to choose from. Simply Cupcakes of Charlotte has great recipes at great prices! This week my guests will enjoy some of the minis: red velvet, black tie, key lime pie, and carrot cake- YUMMY!!!
