Fun and Original Art!

As a realtor I am always checking out different designs and original pieces. One of the newer trends is taking an old window frame and hanging it up on the wall. Some people have taken pictures and put them in each window pane. Others replace the glass panes with mirrors (which is gorgeous). I have even seen people who paint over the glass with chalk paint or magnetic paint to write messages and put up reminders.

I found this original piece of artwork in Dillworth Coffee in Concord, NC. I was able to purchase it from the shop owner- and it is fabulous! It is hands down my favorite find of the year, and is going up in my office as soon as I can figure out how to hang it. I suppose if you have any artistic talent, which I do not, you could make something like this with a little glass paint.
